Hello, VCU Libraries Hiring Committee
I am excited to present a selection of work that showcases a range of my skills in communications.

Southside ReLeaf Impact Report
Print and Digital Publication Design
As a freelance designer, I led the project management and design direction for this 28-page impact report for local non-profit, Southside ReLeaf.

Event Organizing and Event Promotion
ICF Next & Pocahontas State Park Volunteer Day
As the president of the Culture Committee at ICF Next’s Richmond office, I organized and advertised a fun day of community service for my coworkers and I.
I designed physical and digital event posters to display in our office space to entice people to sign up to volunteer. I managed event logistics and communication with volunteers to ensure a successful, fun and enlightening day.
Participants left with a greater feeling of fulfilment and connection with one another and their larger community.

Digital Experience Design, Script Writing and Video Editing
Tampa International Airport
Working with another designer at consulting firm ICF Next, I designed screens and interactive prototypes to showcase a concept for a proposal to Tampa International Airport.
I was in responsible for writing and voicing the script for the video, and helped with video editing as well.
Script:
Welcome to Tampa International Airport, an engaging and interactive experience helping travelers depart, arrive, dine, shop and more with ease.
The Tampa International Airport B2B desktop experience features a streamlined approach to allow all airport business to be easily accessed and easily actionable.
Users in this experience may have different needs from the B2C airport traveler. This business section of the Tampa International Airport website should echo the brand conveyed by the B2C experience. Business users can quickly see and interact with airport jobs, tenant information, procurement, suppliers, HR, leasing, maps and more.
By selecting an information tile, users can easily access pertinent information, make quick, informed decisions, and take action.
Now, welcome to the Tampa International Airport mobile experience with engaging and interactive components helping travelers depart, arrive, dine, shop and more with ease.
As the traveler comes to the landing page, they will be greeted with a lightened experience.
Just a few simple swipes on the home page are all that is needed to quickly access the most relevant information. Distinct cards with quick hits of easily digestible details create an environment of high learnability.
As the user’s primary needs are pushed to the forefront, there is still room for additional functionally and content which can be accessed through the navigation menu and search bar found in the header area.
The parking card provides a quick snapshot on which parking lots have spots available, and how long it will take the visitor to walk to their terminal from each spot.
As the user swipes up, more in-depth information is presented with the ability to then scroll down the page. When done, the user can swipe back down to close the card.
The security card shows TSA wait times at a glance, as well as estimated walking times to TSA from the users current location. Swiping up will provide more details such as a video about applying for TSA Pre-check.
If the traveler has free time to enjoy the amenities inside Tampa international Airport, they can use the explore card to take a tour of the public art throughout the airport.
Our approach to the B2C design went beyond the idea of mobile friendly - our experience is traveler friendly.
Tampa International Airport - a mobile and desktop journey with a focus on being traveler friendly, functional and a relevant world class digital experience.
